Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 governs the collection and processing of personal data in Egypt. As a firm that advises regulated organisations on data protection, we hold this website to the same standard we recommend to clients. This page sets out, plainly, how integrysconsult.com aligns with the law.
What the PDPL requires, and what we do
| Requirement | How this website addresses it |
|---|---|
| Lawful basis for processing | Personal data is collected only when you voluntarily submit a form. Consent is given by submission, and our legitimate interest is limited to responding to your enquiry. |
| Transparency | Our Privacy Policy lists every form, the exact fields collected, the purpose, and the retention period. |
| Data minimisation | Forms request only what is needed to respond. Phone number, budget and message fields are optional. |
| Purpose limitation | Data submitted through a form is used to respond to that enquiry. We do not add you to a marketing list or sell data. |
| Security | All submissions travel over encrypted HTTPS. Data is delivered to a mailbox with restricted access rather than an open database. |
| Retention | Enquiry data is deleted or anonymised within 24 months of last contact where no engagement follows. |
| Data subject rights | Access, correction, erasure, withdrawal of consent and objection can be exercised by emailing info@integrysconsult.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. |
| Cross-border transfer | Our hosting and email providers operate infrastructure outside Egypt. We rely on their contractual safeguards, and we disclose this in the Privacy Policy. |
| No unnecessary tracking | This website uses no advertising cookies and no third-party tracking pixels. |
Data we deliberately do not collect
- No national ID numbers, passport numbers or government identifiers.
- No financial account, card or payment data.
- No sensitive personal data as defined by the PDPL (health, biometric, religious belief, political opinion, criminal record).
- No behavioural advertising profiles.
If an engagement later requires any of the above, it is handled under a separate written agreement with its own data-handling schedule — never through this website.
Exercising your rights
Email info@integrysconsult.com with the word "PDPL" in the subject line and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to verify your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Centre established under the PDPL.
Our advisory practice
Integrys advises organisations on PDPL readiness, including data mapping, lawful basis assessment, privacy notices, retention schedules, cross-border transfer arrangements and breach response. That is a separate engagement from this website. See our services or contact us.
